InkBlood Writers Weekend ~ Round 2, Entry #9

Arouse

Do you know that
when you turn around
and hold my gaze,
simply for a second
or ten,
You arouse in me
a love so purely passionate
that my hands spontaneously
inch forward to hold you;
My fingers tingle
with the desire to run
through your hair and stubble;
And my lips tremble
at the thought of
tracing the outline of yours.

And then,
I pause,
to hold your gaze back
and allow love
to consume me
Again.

InkBlood Writers Weekend ~ Round 2, Entry #8

Mother nature at play

Waking up to his touch,
My marmalade like,
glowing face

Sun rays envious,
Cerulean sky asks,
For some orange-crimson shades

I fly like a butterfly,
Painted so colorful,
As dipped in nature

Teleporting brightness,
To this world,
Arousing pure vapours

Wandering like a gypsy,
Spreading beauty,
Profoundly

I collapse,
But my heart murmurs,
Someone’s calling

I get up rapidly,
My electric nerves,
Empower me

Twilight gets my shine,
World needs a fairer moon ,
They require light

I fall in his arms,
Submerge once again,
And feel blessed

Submerge

Why does your acerbic rant

appear garrulous

today?

You mask your care,

your love

your desire to share

and be fair

in a garb

that spits

and hits…

Why do I keen

Under the umbrage

Of discard shown

today?

Why does it pierce my sensitivity,

numb my brain,

sully my soul,

submerge me so…

today?

Creation

A grain of thought seeps in,

And creation flows through me,

Resonating, caressing,

Like a murmur in my being…

My eyes trace the textures,

Of the path I would make,

The winds of change quiver,

Like a murmur in my being…

As the walls of norm tumble,

My hands shape the endless sky,

And boundless-vision enlaces me,

Like the murmur of becoming…

InkBlood Writers Weekend ~ Round 2, Entry #5

Tryst with death

With fear and anger, I stood on the cliff,
a jump, a splash; I breathed, mid-air,
thoughts ran vivid- touching every breath,
of silence and death- loneliness,

I opened my eyes, the world was slow,
they stared at me, mop and mow,

I waited to submerge- touched the water,
I already imagined a tryst with death,
it was cold and icy around, it seemed,
I would meet eternal silence sometime later,

The journey prolonged, heart-beats were mild,
No excitement remained, just weightlessness,

How will it be to not be able to breathe?
so much pain- will I die or survive?
Why am I dying, I thought out loud?
Am I dreaming again? Lord, help me revive!

With a zing and a startle, I looked around,
It was the same old pen, paper and no sound!

Cerulean

They ask me what I love the most about the Fall.
It is the cerulean sky that you gift me.
Beneath which my autumn is born.
In yellowed leaves,
I dollops of sunshine.
I smear the cerulean hue all over me.
Before I bid the year adieu,
Another year in me is born anew.

I look for you, amidst all the blue.

Electric

As I run my hands,
over your bare back,
that shivers beside,
makes up for,
the best painting,
I have ever made,
as my fingers,
get full with the ink,
I need to write,
a few more poems,
about the love,
we just made,
it makes me feel,
electric.

InkBlood Writers Weekend ~ Round 2, Entry #2

My thoughts, about some of them…

Murmur

Like the silence of the night, his love murmured in her ears assuring her of his presence, in the darkest of all lonely nights.

Marmalade

Add some love to make it sweeter;
to the otherwise insipid marmalade of my life.

Arouse/ Pure

His touch at the curve of her waist,
Aroused a gush of pure love in her veins.

Cerulean

Her cerulean eyes twinkled,
Upon meeting his gray stare.

Submerge

She was submerged in desires;
Under his touch,
Her ecstasy soared to the highest levels.

Collapse

And she collapsed, surrendering herself;
In the warmth of his arms.

PURE

Pure lust is a must, To add to life’s thrust,

It gives u a new zing, The heart wants to dance , to sing,

Every action is in only this regard,

Desires unleashed , no guards,

Achieving and acquiring the focus, Untangled from the vicious locus,

Lust need not be negative, as it’s pure,

Moving ahead, it’s progressive nature is the lure!

It is substance , it is meaning;A dimension is added with the likes, teeming,

Be positive, think positive, be the anthem of allure,

Lust; the passionate lust to be pure.

InkBlood Writers Weekend ~ Round 2

Hello Ink Lovers,

The inspiration to create something immortal and of unlimited value to the heart, comes from a singular moment of realization. While you may flow in this process of creation, as one river, with the waters of all your senses, your destination is actually the vision you first saw, the moment inspiration struck you.

That is also how we write, don’t we? The station is clear in our minds, we just have to make our own path with the words, to get there.

That brings us to today’s Writing Exercise

Here is a small collection of words:

Print

Pure, Cerulean, Electric, Phosphorus, Vapour, Teleport, Rapid, Vicious, Marmalade, Gypsy, Murmur, Collapse, Arouse, Neon, Submerge

Now, that you’ve read the words, choose any one, and write a poem, narrative or a diary entry about the first overpowering visual it inspires in your mind. In case you don’t know the exact meaning of some of the words, look them up. It will prove to be a learning worth-while, and will give you a word you can add to your vocabulary arsenal.

Remember it has to be the first vision that comes to your mind, when you read or think of the word. Try not to deliberate on the writing. Just feel it, and flow.

Here is an example:

Teleport

Piece by piece,

breaking away in fragments effortlessly,

Like a dream,

Teleport yourself to me,

But remember,

To not leave your love behind…
