A Mizzly Day
Cloudy days make her hopeful.
The sky looks gloomy and vulnerable,
maybe the Gods above them will be too.
Thinking so, she wishes for you, through every rain…
When that fails, she challenges the sky
as to who can hold the storm for longer,
only to be mocked by her ever-ready tears…
It was one of those days, when the sky looked lost,
where her watch, proudly, dictated the time of the day.
The Sun grateful, that he can rest for a few hours,
gave way to those clouds which carried the meanest streak of grey…
But she was different, her adolescent playfulness gone,
She didn’t bother to look up, she didn’t bother to pray.
It rained like never before, that day.
The sky cried a torrent, that day.
She was too busy trying to not get wet,
her eyes didn’t bother to well-up.
